About me…
I’m Vicki Boushelle and I’m a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with over 10 years of experience in mental health counseling, mostly in community mental health. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, client-focused, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am EMDR-trained and working towards certification.
Therapy…
Is not always straightforward, easy, or completed in the perfect timeframe. And you may feel worse before you start to feel better, but if you are willing to allow me to help you unpack your burdens, then the work will feel lighter.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that people heal best when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. Whether you’re working through past trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, improving relationships, or seeking greater self-awareness, my goal is to provide a space where you can move toward clarity, healing, and resilience
What to expect…
I offer a free 15-minute consultation, where you can share what your primary struggle is, discuss how I may help, and next steps. If you want to move forward, the first appointment will be completing an assessment. The second appointment is usually gathering more information and developing measurable goals collaboratively. I only offer telehealth appointments.
